EDIT: Tamashii Nations is officially over! Thank you to everyone who enjoyed our round-up! We truly appreciate it! (New information and pictures will still be added if any arise!)
It’s that time of year again, that time for Bandai’s Tamashii Nations event to tease us with some glorious, Figuarts, D-Arts, MonsterArts, Chogokin, and more. And don’t worry, we’ll have all of the latest news and pictures rounded up here for your easy navigation. Don’t bother trekking around other sites when we’ll have it all right here as it happens. Well, almost as it happens, because of course we won’t actually be in Japan at the event, instead we’ll be clamoring over our respective computers over in the States! Make sure to bookmark this post and check back for updates as Tamashii news starts pouring in late Thursday night!
As a reminder, every figure shown here is a prototype. Appearing here is not a guarantee for release, but most of this stuff will see the light of day at some point.

| First things first, S.H. Figuarts has been strong early, so far showing us some brand new Sailor Moon figures. Durarara!! prototypes were also shown. As a huge fan of Tiger & Bunny, it’s nice to see a more finalized version of Fire Emblem, as well as a new figure for the newest NEXT, Robin! D-Arts came out strong with POKEMON! So far we’ve only got good pictures of Mewtwo and Charizard, but the feet of a Blastoise and Venasaur can be seen on a picture above the two. Some new Megaman stuff was also teased, including Bass!S.H. MonsterArts has shocked a lot of people by showing a prototype for freaking Biollante, as well as something I’ve been wanting for a bit now, Angels, from Evangelion! (YEEEEE!). Also shown off was a Vajra from Macross Frontier. So far Bandai’s new 12″ Perfect Model series has shown us both the blue and yellow Akibarangers to round out the bunch. UPDATE – - Photos of D-Arts Charizard, Blastoise and Venusaur have been added. S.H. Figuarts Iron Man and War Machine too.Additionally for D-Arts, the fighting game crowd is getting some love with Sol Badguy and Hakumen from Guilty Gear and Blazblue respectively, both currently showing off unjointed prototypes (as they do for many D-Arts). The knight from White Knight Chronicles is on display as well and man, I don’t like that game, but it looks GORGEOUS. Arisa Iriinchina Amieera from God Eater had a jointed figure. It will likely also fall under the D-Arts line. UPDATE – Noel Vermillion photo added Ultra Act is going strong, with Nexus, Noa and Dark Zagi as well as the Mother of Ultra, Father of Ultra and a slew of new forms for Ultraman Zero, plus Zetton and Babalou. In the Kamen Rider department, just about everyone from Kamen Rider Ryuki showed up. Including Odin, Verde, Imperer, Scissors, Femme (I previously said she was not there, but I just found a picture), Alternative Zero, the newly announced exclusive Ryuga and all of their respective monsters. Notably absent is Abyss, who appeared at Tamashii Features back in March. KAMEN RIDER BLADE. BLADE IS FINALLY HAPPENING. There’s also his bike, the Blue Spader on display, but who knows if that will see a release. Additionally, Kamen Rider X, Kamen Rider Stronger (Charge Up) and Tackle, plus the recently announced web-exclusive Riderman. To accompany X, we have a Showa-version of Apollo Geist. The Super Sentai department is exceptionally light this time around, with the Super Robot Chogokin section being the only new presence aside from the S.H. Figuarts Dragon Ranger from Zyuranger. That is, Burai. Or Tommy, as some of you may know him. Daibouken, first debuted at NYCC makes an appearance alongside GekiTouja. Also, unofficially, in addition to the Corporate Drone, Malshina, Deluknight and the rest of the Akibarangers, they seem to have plans for an Aoi-tan SHF. Strange, but not unwelcome. GaoFighGar, Anryu, Kouryu as well as Mic Sounders showed up in the Super Robot Chogokin section, alongside fellow brave Fighbird. Also, currently unphotographed, are SRC The Big O, Tetsujin 28 FX and Giant Robo, as well as Brave Police J-Decker. UPDATE - Blurry Giant Robo and Big O photos added. Clear TETSUJIN 28 FX photo added. Still no J-Decker. SIC is entirely devoted to Kamen Rider OOO, much to Suri’s delight. GataKiriBa, RaToraTah, SaGoZo, Shauta and PuToTyra are all on display. There were also SIC Kiwami Tamashii versions of Kuuga. In addition to the released Mighty form, Pegasus, Dragon and Titan in their non-Rising forms and they had some pretty cool effect parts for the weapons. Space Sheriff Gavan, the recently announced exclusive S.H. Figuarts is displayed with his laser blade, as well as fellow Space Sheriffs, Sharivan, Shaider and Gavan Type-G. Additionally, there’s a number of strange choices for S.H. Figuarts like Eve from Black Cat and Mei from Another, who was shown off last week. Akazawa Izumi, also from Another, was another of the prototypes displayed. Bandai is going into the anime girls market, for whatever reason. I’m not complaining. I like Black Cat. Somewhat unsurprising is Lelouch from Code Geass. Or more accurately, Zero. Max Factory released a figma Lelouch in his school uniform and in a recent poll, he was one of the most requested for a reissue, though that has yet to happen. The face looks a little off, but here’s hoping that’s just the prototype being a prototype. Alma Tandouji from Sacred Seven also had an SHF shown. One of the numerous Robot Damashii displayed was the new Nirvash from Eureka Seven AO. Possibly my favorite bit that was shown off was a full set of figures of the Cyborgs from Cyborg 009, sporting their new designs from the recent movie. All of them are listed as S.H. Figuarts, although only 009 has joints. He’s currently up for pre-order on Tamashii Web… though when I say ‘favorite,’ I’d be lying if I didn’t acknowledge that Sol Badguy makes me excited as all hell for what else may come. - Suri B…bb…but, MonsterArts Angels!!! – the daytime ninja |

Very nice. I'm looking forward to what figures they may show for any fighting game series and Megaman X.
Finally we're getting fully articulated Sailor Moon figures. I hope Jupiter is on the list, but I'll get them all.
Also glad to see Mewtwo and Charizard. I will need to get Mewtwo and the three first gen Starters to go with the Figma Link, Samus, and Pit for a Smash Bros. display.
I never played any of the Megaman games with Bass, but he looks pretty cool.
I'm still hoping to get an official subline of SSB D-Arts toys! But the pokemon and Figmas will definitely suffice until then.
Biollante is like… HEY DO YOU LIKE F***ING HUGE TOYS??
want.
I feel like I'm in such a hole for Kaiju MonsterArts at this point. I think I'll start with the Evangelion Angels
There were a LOT of Ultraman shown off this weekend. Two new versions of the original, a bunch of older ones (Taro, Joneius, Jack, etc.), and many, many more.
My Toku backlog is ridiculous, and these new Ultra-Act teases are making me push Ultraman to the top!
Man, this is seriously killing me, that Vajra looks beautiful
Also, can't believe they're making an SHF Blade, now I can't make fun of the lack of Blade figures anymore. At least Hibiki is still toyless.
That Mewtwo display with him facing off against Mew is unbelievable. I hope Mew comes with Mewtwo (I don't think we'd get that display as well).
Yep, Mew is confirmed to come with Mewtwo!
What about the One Piece Zero line?
There were none on display. Don't worry, you'll get more. The line is selling gangbusters in Japan.
where will i be able to get these figures? i need the pokemon and power rangers!
